Horse Pull at The GREAT Frederick Fair
Come enjoy this FREE event in the Grandstand area. Sponsored by Frederick Motor Company and Fout Roll Off Services.
On Friday, Sept. 12, fairgoers can enjoy free admission. A parking fee of $5 will be charged starting at 5 p.m. on Friday. Activities begin at 5 p.m. Friday with the opening of Reithoffer’s carnival and midway. The first of the grandstand events also gets under way at 5:30 p.m. with the horse pull. The crowning of the 2008-09 4-H King and Queen and Frederick County’s Farm Family of the Year will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Livestock Show Arena (Bldg. 32). There will also be special recognition of students in Frederick County Public Schools’ Character Counts Program.
Friday is also the first of several Days of the Ride for One Price special. From 5pm to 10pm for $25 you can ride all the rides unlimited times. Bring a Coke product can and receive a $5 discount.
