The Outdoor Harper's Ferry Festival and Tim Gavin Race 2008
The Harpers Ferry Outdoor Festival is a yearly event held to raise money for river conservation, raise environmental awareness and have fun! Money raised through the event is used to help Friends of the Shenandoah River, Friends of the Cheat, Friends of the Blackwater, and the West Virginia Rivers Coalition. Admission to the festival is only $8.00 and is free to overnight guests of the KOA & anyone participating in the Tim Gavin Race or the Amateur Raft Race. Registration for the Race begins at 9 AM. The Race starts at 1 PM. The Festival begins at 2 PM.
