ATTENTION: Mommies-
The Mother's Connection of Palm Beach County will be
holding their annual BEAT THE HEAT party on Thursday, August 21st from
10:30am - 2pm at the Dubois Park in Jupiter. The party is potluck and all
mothers of children under the age of 5 are invited to attend. We ask that
each person bring a donation item(s). We will be collecting items for an
organization, AVDA - Aid to victims of domestic abuse based in Delray Beach.
Donations needed are as follows: diapers and pull ups (all sizes); Wipes,
baby food, soaps, lotions, ointments etc. for babies; bottles, sippy cups.
Any gently used pack-n-plays, strollers, high chairs, blankets, and crib
sheets are needed.
Come out and enjoy a fun-filled day of the beach, playground, food, and a
visit from the local fire department. Meet local mommies and their children.
To join The Mothers Connection and take advantage of all ongoing activities
is $45 per year. There are playgroups for all age groups up to age 5 as
well as a host of other activities and support groups, including Bunco,
Coffee Club lecture series, Mom's Night Out, Community Service Projects and
