Educational Philosophy
We at Taylor Children's Academy believe very strongly in providing the type of educational environment that fosters the growth of happy and healthy children. We accomplish this by providing the physical, intellectual, social and emotional activities that develop skills your child needs to succeed at school and in life. The developmental needs of your children are the basis for our program. Our staff has been well trained in selecting the activities that will be appropriate for the age and needs of your child. Our classrooms are set in learning areas called centers. They are designed to provide materials, which give the children the hands-on types of experiences that we as experts in the field, find necessary for young children. These play experiences are the most important aspect of a child's development. It is how they learn the best. We enrich these experiences by having themes. Here we take a theme such as a holiday, special event or concept, and concentrate on it. We provide interesting activities that give the children added experiences and help to expand their view of the world around them. You will be notified of all theme weeks through our curriculum that is available every month.
