Our Mission
Our mission is to teach every baby, toddler, child and adult to become safe and happy in water. Drowning is the single leading cause of accidental death in children under 5 years of age. Year-round water survival skills are vital here in South Florida.
Our Methods
We have been dedicated to saving lives for over 25yrs, and our survival skills are based on teaching beginners, of all age groups, that the ability to float on their back is the most important survival skill of all. It enables all swimmers to rest, call for help if necessary, and to avert the ?silent? danger of floating face down. Over many years the owner of the British Swim Schools, Rita Goldberg, has worked constantly to develop, improve and fine tune these methods and we now have the ability to teach even 6 month babies to roll over onto their backs. All our teaching is a gradual, gentle and fun process geared towards complete water safety and independence in the water.
