It's easy to be ordinary, but it takes courage to excel ... and we must EXCEL.
We would not be successful if we didn't use the child's family as a resource. Families are very involved at our school. They tell us what they like and what they don't like, what programs they'd like to see, and what was a waste of time. We work with parents to provide the best early learning experience for children.
At Parma Preschool we strive to make learning enjoyable and interesting. This is done by following a Reggio Philosophy. Each year we end up studying and researching what the children are interested in. By being a child-directed Early Education Center, we have worked closely with surrounding colleges and occasionally have student teachers.
We offer preschool programs 2 days a week/ 3 days a week/ 4 days a week... they range from 2 hours to 2.5 hours
We accept children ages 3-5, they must be potty trained.
Kindermusik and Gymnastics are part of our pre-kindergarten curriculum.
We use an Emergent Project Approach Curriculum.
We have an Art Studio that children visit once a week with our Art Teacher
Our teachers integrate the Reggio-Emilia Philosophy into our teaching.
