Welcome to Light Years Ahead, Seminole County's Premier Day Care Center.
We know that choosing a childcare facility is an extremely important decision. In Light Years we work hard to offer you the right choice. The New Owners, who purchased the center last March 2008, have been improving the quality of education delivered, the facilities, materials and hiring the best educated, experienced, and caring personnel.
We offer 1 to 5 years old full time and part time programs plus our Before and After school service which includes Homework Supervision. We are Voluntary Pre-K specialists offering three hours FREE sessions in the morning and in the afternoon plus the Full Day FREE VPK(6 hours program). Our fees includes Breakfast, Lunch and P.M. Snack, all under the Food Program Administration which means that your children are receiving the best nutritious meals certified and audited by the state officials. We have a professional staff that includes Bi-Lingual, Spanish certified bachelor degree teachers and CDA certified teachers. All our staff is also CPR certified. We accept 4C (Community Coordinated Care for Children), and we are DCF licensed # C18SE0194. We also provide Summer Camp and Spring Break Camp. In our 2008 Summer Camp we went to 41 field trips! 32 of those were included in our low weekly rate!
We are conveniently located right off of I-4 and Route 436 in Altamonte Springs, our day care facility services both the Orlando area and those who live or work near the towns of Apopka, Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Winter Springs in Seminole County. It is also easy to pull of the I-4 if you came to work to downtown.
Our one acre facilities have well equipped classrooms plus a large playground with the ones and twos separated from the bigger kids. We also have a game room and plenty of parking space..
We are open Monday to Friday form 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Ask also for our parents night out and week end activities.
Light Years is personally operated by its owners. Our philosophy is to provide a nurturing, safe, educational place for your children.
