Exploring Trees Inside and Out Exhibit
A hands-on exhibit that offers opportunities to engage in sensory exploration of trees. Visitors can investigate the inside of a tree trunk, look through the veins of leaves, watch a simulation of light filtering through leaves, "perch" in a larger-than-life bird's nest, and listen to the sound of water as it travels from a tree's roots to its leaves. The exhibit also includes "sensation stations" at which kids can see, touch, and smell different parts and types of trees.
