...building girl's courage, confidence and character

They’re sassy, stylish, and send a message mom and dad can stand behind. Honest Hala, Caring Caitlin, Respectful Roxi, Courageous Camara, and Friendly Fionna make up Troop Groovy Girls.

Manhattan Toy, the maker of the Groovy Girls doll line, partnered with Girl Scouts of the USA to create its newest Groovy Girls. Each 13 inch, soft-skinned scout represents a different Girl Scout Promise and Law theme. Take Camara - she wears a pink tank top that says “Courage” with matching capris and satin shoes. Camara and pals all come with reversible sashes – brown for Brownies and green for Junior Girl Scouts. The line also includes coordinating doll accessories such as the “Drowsy Dreamer” sleeping bag and a “Trooptastic Tent.”

It made a lot of sense to extend the Groovy Girls brand with the Girl Scouts, because it’s in a manner that connects the mutual goals of both organizations: building girls’ courage, confidence, and character,” explains Hugh Kennedy, Vice President of Business Development for Manhattan Toy.

Like the other Groovy Girls dolls, the members of the troop celebrate diversity and represent different racial backgrounds.

A portion of the proceeds will go back to the Girl Scouts.

"We are very excited to be working with Manhattan Toy and their very popular Groovy Girls brand," commented Barry Horowitz, Vice President and General Manager, Girl Scout Merchandise. "This relationship is a perfect fit for our reputation as the organization for the grooviest girls in the world.”

Recommended ages: 3-8 MSRP: $15.00
